Aziens kyoka suigetsu is not genjutsu lol, genjutsu agitates the chakra and affects the chakra that way the user sees illusions, which is how characters in Naruto are able to break out of genjutsus by disturbing their chakra, or for the more powerful genjutsus have someone else pour chakra into them to disturb it. meanwhile Kyoka Suigetsu affects all five senses, meaning there is no way to tell that you're in his illusion, theres no breaking out of it because it doesn't give you the thought that you're under an illusion

We wanted to maintain the chronological order on our end but seeing as this was a very highly anticipated episode, we are releasing it now. You can find it below!" But here they said it was a mistake and 1x18 was always supposed to be released that day. So which is it, was the decision not to release it intentional or an accident?

I don’t think anything necessarily needs changed, but it would be interesting if you covered something that happened in the news (entertainment or otherwise) from the week and gave your take on it. Maybe trade the sheet in for a collapsible [chroma key] panel or something that won't show wrinkles. And maybe throw a lil led light on back of those chairs or a wand light with barn doors on the ground to light the background separately to address those shadows. Regardless ima keep tuning in every Sunday (or sometimes Monday if I'm busy) to watch! Thanks for listening and actually interacting with your patrons 🙏🏾

The 3 Mod Souls that were in the arc appear for about 10 eps after the arc is finished (you've no doubt seen them) but they fuck off forever after a while (except maybe in other filler stuff? Not sure on that, but they're never seen in canon stuff again). The leader of the Bounts is this (admittedly very cool looking trench coat wearing, white haired looking) guy named Jin Kariya, not sure if you've seen it yet but he'll appear as a vision in some Ichigo training stuff. But that's it. You literally don't need to know anything about it lol.

Today while i was sorting laundry I fell down laughing at how he snuck "I love putting Chris P Bacon in my mouth" into that comment. So shoutout to Chris too. hilarious. When you guys were talking about movie series you're going to watch next I was curious about the Miyazaki movies from Studio Ghibli. I think there was a poll up for those right when I joined the patreon, but i can't remember any reactions to them. With Miyazaki's final movie coming out this month in Japan, I think it would be awesome if y'all went back and watched all of his work. Hayao Miyazaki has directed/co-directed 14 of Studio Ghibli's 24 movie releases, and they're all incredible in their own way. It could be a fun reaction journey to go back and start with the ones he made in the 80s, and watch up though the end of his career. Have a great rest of your weekend everyone!

2023-07-30 15:45:19 +0000 UTCSo roughly what happens in the Bount arc of Bleach is first 3 new Mod Souls are introduced living inside a stuffed bird, another in a rabbit purse, and the third in a turtle plush. They’re designed to fight and track the Bounts who are kind of like vampires and they all have dolls that have special powers and abilities. Rukia, Renji, Captain Hitsugaya, and Lieutenant Matsumoto come to the world of the living to help Ichigo, Chad, Orihime, and Uryu to fight them and stop them from coming to the Soul Society. They fail and the Bounts make it into the Soul Society and then everyone has to fight them there. Uryu finds a filler way via Captain Kurotsuchi to regain some of his Quincy powers temporarily. Eventually, Ichigo fights the leader of the Bounts on the hill where the Sokyoku used to be and wins, and all but 2 of the Bount are killed, and they decide to go into hiding, never to be seen again. The 3 Mod Souls stick around in the canon events for around the next 30-40 episodes before eventually fading back into the background never to be seen again except for ending theme songs and the post-credit comedy skits after every episode. Also, Uryu loses his powers again. All of this takes 40 episodes and is very slow and boring, if you want to check it out in your own time go ahead, but you’re not missing much. I actually tried to rewatch the arc to see if my memories of it being slow and boring were wrong, and I could barely make it 10 episodes in before I had to stop cause it was so boring. The best part of the arc is the openings and endings which I hope you all check out, it’s Opening 4, Ending 6, Ending 7, Ending 8, and Ending 9.

The great thing about watching the big 3 and anime back than is that we got more content, not just manga canon but the filler arc where great growing up and helping get more attached to characters.

Think of the Bounts as vampires, they're introduced and can absorb reishi and want to attack the soul society but can't get in. They harass Ichigo and crew, some new mod souls are created to help train them. Uryu catches feels for one of the Bounts and helps them into the soul society. Big reveals on the creation of the Bounts and some big fights. The mod souls that were created have no more real use and just hang around in the show as new side characters that only exist in the anime.

2023-07-30 15:11:08 +0000 UTCEssay form, you asked for it, here we go 💀 TL;DR: 1) You guys tell people in videos ahead of time to post comments about a specific topic you are gonna discuss on Sunday Rundown (ex: 90s fashion in Buffy or “How season 4 of Attack on Titan changed everything”) 2) Everyone who comments on that topic has a chance for that comment to be featured in the Sunday Rundown discussion on the topic 3) That discussion is then clipped and shared on YouTube, at the end of that clip someone says “If you want your comment to be featured in one of our discussions about this show then sign up for our patreon.” I think people are more interested in discussions or video essays about certain topics related to shows they like rather than specific episodes. A video about “90’s fashion in Buffy” is gonna get more clicks than “Our replies to your comments on this specific episode” I don’t know how realistic this is but I wonder if doing these discussions and highlighting what those discussions are in the annotations would change viewership Again maybe this just is absolutely unrealistic workload wise but say for example if you guys were still watching The Wire, maybe you still share and discuss specific comments week to week BUT you tell people to make specific comments about a topic you want to discuss in an upcoming Sunday Rundown Even maybe saying ahead of time in reaction videos "RANA AND SURAJ are gonna discuss which of these two characters is MORE OF A DADDY: STRINGER BELL OR FRANK SOBATKA. Share who you think is more of a daddy for a chance to have your comment highlighted in their discussion about that next week on the Sunday Rundown" Maybe some of those brief discussions could be clipped and shared on YouTube, like a video titled "The Wire season 4: Holy fuck these kids make me so sad" and at the end of each of these videos you could say "if you want your comments featured in a discussion like this or to see our weekly responses to comments please sign up for our patreon" Would love if Navi and Marketa had some of their discussions on One Piece clipped too Side note: Genuinely love that you guys made the Sunday Rundown. I don’t know how many channels have gone out of their way to try to respond to comments like this, bringing them up in videos has also been next level Frustrates me that it feels like you guys can’t just be yourselves, that it’s like you’re not able to disagree with comments at all. They’ve been under his hypnosis for over 100 years. And there is NO way to be released from it, they are stuck like that forever. Thats why he explained seeing his release even once will make the enemy fall under his spell for the rest of their lives. Nothing can be done to reverse it
