☆ APRIL POSTCARD + STICKER ☆ // Pastel Dreamers

Hello there! o(*>ω<*)o

Hope you're having a good day~ I'm so excited that we're already into our second month of postcard and sticker rewards ($10 patrons, I'm mailing out your March rewards this Friday 4/13 <3)! I'm having so much fun coming up with new designs and I've been sticking to a single theme for both artworks. :'D

For the postcard (above) I was specifically inspired by Japanese convenient stores (konbini) and the fun, colorful designs that line their shelves. It's always fun looking at the individual logos of each product, but when you see them all together it becomes a wall of rainbow. *u* I also wanted to work with colors that I tend to shy away from (yellow, blue) and ended up with a playful pastel palette that lessened the harshness of those primary colors so that they could exist symbiotically. ^^

I continued with the konbini theme for the sticker and drew another rice ball (I really love drawing them? it's rice?? in a triangle shape?? with a lil seaweed blanket???? best thing ever). I thought it'd be cute to add a character into the mix as well. She's just chillin' and enjoying her meal. :')
