Summer Afternoons

Sometimes I just wanna draw sketchy fluffy stuff and not waste to much time on it but as often I keep cleaning my sketches and they look cleaner than I want to-

When I draw this kind of "slice of life" I always wonder if I should add dialog or not. But it's better to let it up to your imagination, as you'll focus on the ambiance/vibe of the pic and not the story dialogues would tell.

They look so normal haha.  Just chilling on... I dunno where they are. On Bed (with literally no folds haha) or just on a blanket on the floor, and they placed some cushions.

Have a nice day <3

Ps. Not Haribo-sponsored obv haha, that's just me putting branded stuff everywhere cause they are in our own environment...

PPS. The Boy is probably playing Cult of the lamb. Ain't we all ?

Z-Pico, I laughed when I saw “Haribo” because I thought it was a reference to another great artist who did Mad Dog and At The End Of The Road. If you haven’t checked out Haribo’s stuff OMG please do. Both your works have this mix of danger, sexiness and sharp humor. A++

It’s incredible how “real” this looks. I can feel this chill and relax vibe, the whole mood and the ease it brings to everyday life. It takes me back to those situations and makes me remember the calm, just by looking at it. Honestly, I don’t need any text to go with it, because there is enough transferring through the setting and their body language and facial expressions. (Though I love to imagine Tera is browsing through his picture gallery or vids, finding a particular cute/funny one with “his” cats that he wants to share.) Even though they both are going about their own business, it doesn’t seem like they are just together in a room, but not connected. Especially with the conclusion of Tera leaning in, and the boy skipping his game and focus on Tera. There is no separation, they seem “close” and content in both panels. The intimacy is amazing and at another level, even if the touching/contact is all natural and casual without being the main focus. I love to see them happy like this, it’s contagious and I feel the echo of it.
