Despite what their clothes suggest, they are approaching winter, it's probably November haha.
Tera knows where Joris lives, no surprise here as we now know he used to come at their place!
Can you tell how cheerful Tera is when he tells the Boy to sit in the front? No reason for that, he's just happy the Boy said yes haha. That "Please." says how seriously worried Tera is about him (and that he learnt how to deal with the Boy lol).

I can't wait for the story to unfold more, cause I don't like the fact that Tera seems to worry for the Boy for no reason, or just because that's what you would expect in such stories. I mean there are reasons, when he says "people are looking for you"... you can guess who he's talking about.
But I can tell where there's bad writing in my chapters (specially the first ones, wish I could delete chp 2, 3 and 4 lol). I hate it! But too late I guess; All of this is a learning process for me.

It stops right before an important scene in which the Boy will finally witness Tera's "nature". Unlike with the pizza delivery gang (who ain't pizza deliverers lol) where Tera just helped the Boy escape because he didn't want him to see violence; Tera will act brutally in the upcoming pages.

I keep cutting and cutting scenes lol. I guess that's me getting a bit better at story telling and storyboarding... I hope, at least. Like there's no "driving" scene here. They left Joris place, cut, Gas Station. It's because they're going to ride home on the motorcycle too; couldn't do the same scene twice!

PS. Tera's actually pressing the Boy against him to keep him warm- But he won't say it.

2022-08-01 11:44:28 +0000 UTCInteresting how diversly things can be interpreted. 😊 I think Tera has such a strong body language, that even masked/without visible facial expressions, he’s broadcasting his mood “loud and clear”. The gesture when he exclaimed “oh come on!” for example or the comparison between “Right here!” (telling the boy to hop on in front) and “Your hands go right here.” – the latter is more matter-of-fact and no tease. It’s a necessity to be able to properly operate the bike with the two of them. If you compare the boys’ reactions with Teras… the one entertaining second thoughts about the level of contact (beside the reader) seems to be the boy. Not Tera. Sure, he’s teasing him with getting on the bike, but – everything else (where Tera placed his hand for example) isn’t exactly any level of “inappropriate”. It looks really cold and the boy doesn’t deny that he’s freezing when Tera states his observation. My first thoughts on that are something else. But that’s on me, just as much as it may be for the boy, since like me, he’s the one blushing. When Tera asks “all good?” he’s not even looking at the boy, just waiting for the confirmation so they can go, and when they arrive at the gas-station the blush is gone, since (I imagine) the boy got used to it and calmed down a bit, noticing it’s nothing out of the ordinary. Off the bike, he is even bored. But then again, I’m just guessing here, it’s the impression I got … on a third thought, because first thought was Tera being the sly raccoon… erm… wolf here (thanks brain). But being honestly worried for good reasons (“people looking for the boy”) seems to be Teras main concern, just as much as keeping the boy warm and getting him home quick. The boy was surprised when Tera told him, that he got himself into some trouble. The boy is oblivious to such things, but Tera knows pretty well how serious it can get. So yeah, wishful thinking aside – at least we know now that Tera and close contact with him never fails to make the boy blush… says something about the boy 😉 (right there with you @ Andy Pandy). Thinking back, the boy had no problem at all using an unconscious Tera as a pillow (on the bed, in his room), or sitting down on him to slap his face- he was even considerate enough to pull Teras shirt down a bit first… To quote the boy… “Let’s not make the situation worse, no misinterpretations…!” – guess he’s well aware.

A very welcomed "sugar" update which i totally love, Tera "the smooth operator" in action :))) Dang it sweetie, I do love your chitchat moments ... but now I'm extremely intrigued how this sweet scene will transition into Tera going brutal. One of the things that I don't like about Tera still having a mask/helmet on is that he shows no expression that way. So hard to read his mood. I'm glad you told us that he was cheerful/happy when he told the boy to hop on 'cause I was wondering about all that. Now i'll let my mind run wild with scenarios on what's to come ;)

The boy probably would have been better off walking lol, but then we wouldn’t have gotten the chance to see the ✨beautiful✨ bike scene. Is the boy blushing out of embarrassment, or is he becoming slightly more attracted to Tera? I personally would be blushing and screaming if someone like Tera held me like that!

They’re not used to it, the fact that you can’t see both of their faces (not just the Boy!) highlight that! What I always call « La pudeur » (kind of shame/shyness to talk about it)! Like they could not look at each other while talking about those stuff. I really appreciate you noticed it haha.

Happy butterflies in my stomach kinda burned at the reality-check of "you smell like gasoline"... oh boy. 🙏 Awesome update... and I love ALL chapters so far! 🤗 PS: Tera might have to take off his helmet to throw it into someones face... 🤔

And very smart grabbing the boy there though I recommend of not going lower, except your intention is to slowly tie this little puppy to you. Which I would support. Also, be glad it is cold outside. Otherwise the boy would feel something that ain't the fuel hole cover...

I’m happy you added that Tera pulled him closer for warmth it would’ve escaped me 😅. I can’t wait to see how the boy reacts to witnessing Tera’s brutality knowing that he has serious nightmare problems 👀 I wonder if dealing with that is what will make them bond/become close 😮 Great chapter I loved it! I’ll never know your story board struggles but the outcome is lovely 💗
