Sorry I'm a bit late, it seems like CSP did not save the yesterday's work, so I had to complete it this morning...
---
Here's a music I was listening while working: Youtube
These pages were not the most entertaining to do, the characters are still and it's just a long conversation, but they are important... and it's better when both the Boy and Tera are here haha. But don't worry, Tera's back in the next pages. He was waiting for the boy -
This scene of Joris caring for his brother and expecting to see him soon follows the previous pages, in which the Rabbit (who is his brother) says he doesn't really care about Joris anymore. I did that so we feel more compassion for Joris! Evil me-
---
I'm not sure we'll see Joris' place again so I really kinda insisted on the symboles (who's surprised...?), one being very obvious haha "EXIT - way out" while Joris is saying he can't get out of this life.
There are also those birds posters and this bird feeder at the window. Birds are the symbol of freedom, the notion of dream and success, of reaching goals. You could say Joris is kinda obsessed with them without really knowing why, but of course it represents his own will for freedom and escape.
And because you're Patrons, here's something I've never talked about yet: In The Boy & the Wolf, each supporting characters represents something for the main characters. And I mean it, they've been written with this in mind. Joris is the symbol of ambition. Of dream. He is the one who never really stops hoping: from the beginning everything he does is meant to make him a Black Death! I'll probably remind you of this in the course of the story, but you'll understand later what it means!
---
Now let's get right to the point: this scene is meant to highlight the similarities between the boy and Joris. They both have a brother they can no longer see. This will be further developed later, but it is very important: now we know (why) the Boy won't try to report Tera or BD to the police, because that would also deprive Joris of his brother. And because he knows what it's like not to have a brother anymore, that awful feeling, he just can't.
All of the main characters have this kind of "underlying connection", they're not acting just because they love/hate each others. And now you should wonder "then why Tera's being so protective toward the Boy?" :D
If some stuff seem incomplete to you, or hard to understand, unjustified, it is because I dilute the clues. It's like a big puzzle!
I hope you like this update and this little chichat!
Take care ❤
PS: Did you notice: When they talk about themselves, their past and their love for their brother, we don't see their faces anymore. This is to express modesty (la pudeur!). They don't dare to look at each other as if they were ashamed to talk about such "intimate" feelings!
