I don't know if I should speed up the rhythm, less dwell on the unnecessary. Actually there are not really unnecessary scenes now, mainly the funny ones... but I wonder about it. But this chapter should be full of plot stuff anyway.

These pages are dedicated to Joris! We learn more about him and his environment. In the next few pages we will really understand what drives him to be a Black Death, other than "money and girls" (which is his pudique answer, not to reveal the real reason). I hope you like it!

I was careful about what the newspaper clippings were showing, at first some of the headlines were mentioning murders committed by Black Death... but the Boy must not be aware of that yet, so I changed some headlines!
(PS: you can only read some headlines, the rest is automatically generated text that means nothing).
"Doesn't your mother find it strange ?" I added that line mainly because I know you'd wonder about that too haha. So wait for Joris' answer :P

This month I have read several books that were only made of ... impossible love and nostalgia... and sometimes death. Yesterday I finished "The Song of Achilles", because one of you mentioned it in the comment. And that after that I kept hearing about this book. So I read it.

... I don't really know what to say about this book. I don't think that's the saddest book I've read, I think what hurt me while I was reading was the fact that I kinda knew the tragedy that was coming. This hurt. I had to stop reading 100 pages from the end to work... (I actually bought the Audio book too so I could keep listening to it when I wasn't able to read lol) I swear to god, I couldn't get this book out of my head. I was thinking about it all the time. I couldn't focus on anything! It was touching and moving and cruel.
It's very different from what I usually read tho, I think the ending would have gained in emotion if the author had lingered on the grief of the character. Not factually, but emotionally. I read books where the plot is secondary and it's just an ode to emotions.
But the last lines... oof. Thank god. THANK GOD there are these last lines. Now I feel... a bit sad, and empty. I was moved by those character, and now I'm back in my normal life???
Okay now here's a rant: What the actual f*ck is Goodreads?? Why the HELL people spoil books in their boring reviews??!!! They even write the last lines of them???!!! How do I DELETE this website from the internet?!! xD

It’s so satisfying to finally be able to fill in some blanks about Jo – and to see the boy caring and sympathetically with the whole situation. The boy may be a bit oblivious about what’s going on at times – but he’s neither dumb nor callous. Especially, if there is something he can relate to… Jo might need a compassionate friend like that. And I can see the crucial emotional test this might become for the boy, when he learns more about Tera too. Trying to reach out to someone that far gone is a long stretch. Black Death is larger-than-life. And Tera is a profound part of it – just like vice versa. This is sooooo³ good, awesome update!! 🙏

La première partie est pleine d'humour, ensuite on découvre le background des personnages et ça nous enfonce dans quelque chose de triste (on vient d'entrer dans cette partie là!) ensuite il y a sans doute la tendresse, et puis viennent d'autres choses... mais no spoil! Merci Panda, ça me motive trop!!!

Like I was telling to WangXian: it's because I know that stretching it out over time like this (and I can't do anything about it, I mean just the fact that I can only do 8 pages/month) probably dilutes the emotion. You don't experience the story intensely, in one go. That's one of the most frustrating thing for me about it!

A much as I love all the silly expression we've gotten to enjoy up until now, this update is now a favorite. No words really needed to be expression in these scenes because the eyes spoke for them. Truly beautiful art. Also, I don't mind the series being long. Keep in as many parts as you want. I'm sure it will be amazing.

Possibly an attempt to get to his brother and hold hold family together. Kind of like putting tape on a broken plate. Even though we don’t know much about him, I really hope nothing bad happens to the rabbit, otherwise joris would be crushed :( On a lighter note, I hope they can finish cleaning within two hours, or Tera will come!

As of now he is the most important side character so i appreciate a little more depth to his story. And please leave the comedy scenes in! They always give the utmost joy while reading!
