History is funny like that, how we get this idea of the Victorian age as prim and proper when in reality it was just as wildly 'filthy' as things have always been. Every revisionist fascist will try and talk about some virtuous past, but time is an illusion. We're virtually the same creatures evolutionary as we were 100,000 years ago. Every attempt to legislate human nature will do nothing but cause short term suffering.
