Crystal Throne - atmospheric ambience
Added 2022-05-11 09:03:30 +0000 UTCA tingly sensation of magic dances across your fingertips as you entered the throne room. The crystal, as though alive, holds the light of the sun and moon and stars and throws them into a thousand rainbows on the walls, ceiling, and floor. On the far side of the room, a throne made of the same magic crystal, where a slight woman with iron-grey hair sits. Her eyes are the same pale blue as the magic crystal. A circlet of iron rests upon her brow.
Hey folks,
This track started out as a suggestion from one of my Bard tier supporters, _Octain, who asked for music to set the tone for a king’s royal court. Well, as you can hear from listening to the track, it ended up going in a very different direction! I actually used wombo, an AI art generator, and asked it to make a “throne room” picture as inspiration. It came back with something that looked almost like an room made of crystals. I used various ethereal, echoing sounds like gamelan, a choir, and the cello combined with delay and reverb effects to create a mystical ambience inspired by the art.
Alternate Versions
Bard tier supporters have access to two alternate versions:
- Half Speed: Slow things down for a much more background-music feel
- Ambient: No more rhythmic elements in this version, just ambient goodness
