"The angular shape of the derelict freighter hangs motionless amidst the asteroid field. You watch it grow larger from the window of your shuttle until it obscures your entire vision. Cautiously, carefully, you disembark. The silence of space greets you; the vacuum overtook the vessel long ago. The only sound is the creaking of the hull echoing dimly through your space-suit. You squeeze your beam-rifle with gloved hands and enter the wreckage of this once great star ship, not knowing what you will find within."

Hey folks, this track is part of the Stealth and Subterfuge monthly theme that was voted on by you all for the month of August. It's been a while since I did anything sci-fi so I wanted to get back into it but with a twist. I ended up going for a middle-eastern vibe, using authentic instruments such as a duduk and a middle-eastern string ensemble, which I've then augmented with lots of unusual effects. That's all combined with some classic synth arps and hybrid percussion to keep the tension high.

This particular track sits somewhere between suspense and combat, making it ideal for a scenario in which the party is sneaking around an especially dangerous location.
