2024-10-20 07:58:48 +0000 UTCwhen i first watched this episode at 12 years old, i thought it was well boring as there wasn't a murder and they were my favs of this show but watching it again, i really liked it and jack dee is looking fit here NGL

2024-10-19 21:26:32 +0000 UTCA fun fact, when they're doing the flashback and showing Dorothy planning the kidnapping with the 3 men, the last person you see, in the blue top with the shirt collar (at 51:40), that's David Renwick, the writer/creator.

2024-10-19 16:52:29 +0000 UTCThe whole mix up with the giant dummy was Jonathan requested 12 feet, as in, 12 spare pairs of feet, not a dummy that was 12 feet in length lol

2024-10-19 16:50:17 +0000 UTCWatching it again, I think that Dudley suspected his wife had been cheating with Angus for a while. He's insecure and thinks he isn't good enough for her, so why wouldn't she? And in a twisted way, that makes it easier for him to justify sleeping with someone else; someone who isn't a megastar, and is more on his "level". Still messed up, but in that case you can kind of see how he got there.

2024-10-19 09:01:47 +0000 UTCI always hated this episode as a kid due to no 'death', on re-watch it isn't actually that bad.

2024-10-19 08:34:26 +0000 UTCPut a mental pin in the comedian Jack Dee, who played Dudley Houseman. You may well be seeing him again at some point in the future ;)
