2024-05-13 22:38:10 +0000 UTCThere's a couple of hundred words you can change in English, eg endings with ent/ant that you add an "e" on the end of to change it to Spanish. Also it's "active vocabulary", so words you use everyday. Even though German sounds very different, the way we put our sentences together are almost identical (the syntax), unlike Spain where it's different... We say "give me a cold beer", they say "give me a beer cold" Also English is the only one to drop grammatically gendered nouns too (masculine/feminine) ;)
