🗳️New Poll ✏️ I Need Your Input! 🗳️

Hi everyone!

Wow—what a whirlwind this last month has been! Between my day job, project dev, Canadian elections, and politics in general - I'd be lying if I said I wasn't exhausted! So I am taking a few days to recharge! In the meantime, the development sprint for the latest SteinWipe Motion Control (SWMC) core flew by, and I’m thrilled to say we’ve landed in a solid place. Now that the groundwork is laid and the final batch of files are about to hit the shop, I’m once again at a crossroads where we can choose the direction we take this project next—and I need your input.

The current SWMC core will become the new foundation going forward, and after the upcoming Orca version release (aiming for next week), I’m proposing we shift gears toward education and documentation while everything’s still fresh in my mind. For the next 3–4 weeks, I’d love to focus on:

But there are other exciting paths too.

On the hardware side, there’s still plenty left on the bench. SteinWipe V2 is coming—and it includes a never-before-seen wiper feature that I’m really excited to share. There's also a "tape-on" version of the wiper for those who don’t want to drill into their machines. And trust me, sticking it on isn’t even the coolest part of the new design I've been planning for months now.

Finally, I’ve received lots of requests to bring SWMC to the A1 series of BBL printers. Since launching SSD, I’ve been flooded with messages from people eager to see an A1-compatible system (and a possible alternative wiper solution too).

So now it’s your turn—I’d love for you to vote on where we go next. Whether you want better guides, new hardware, or A1 support, your vote helps steer the ship.

Thank you for being the steam in this boiler—let’s keep pushing forward. Full steam ahead!

A few members here have one and there has been some talk about needing a few mods so its not off the table!

I think most of your Patreon are X/P users. But if you did something for the A1 it would bring in a lot of new people. They are very popular printers.

Possibly a question that is either plain dumb, or maybe was already answered. If so, my apologies but I have been a bit out of it with health issues. Is there any plans for any H2D related work?
