Why don't you add series of more than 26 episodes? Or sketch shows? Is there a particular reason?

2022-09-21 02:39:39 +0000 UTCThe Young Ones is such a huge part of my childhood. It reminds me of watching it with my dad as nine or ten year old and we'd just laugh until we hurt. We had a bumpy relationship, but watching comedy, watching the shows and films he loved and which he wanted me to love in turn...that was one of those times when things were calm and peaceful and purely positive. And it was probably Young Ones or Bottom that made us laugh the hardest. A decade or so later I then showed Young Ones to my younger sisters, younger than me by eight and ten years respectively, and it felt like handing something down in the same way. And even though we're so different in many ways, and even though we don't share that many interests, and even though the age gap meant I was a bit separated from them...they loved Young Ones just as much as I did, and we still quote it when we talk together. So...please, for old time's sake, vote in Young Ones people - even if you haven't seen it I guarantee you won't be bored.

2022-09-18 14:53:34 +0000 UTCIf KMKY wins, Josh should probably familiarise himself with the 70โs ABBA hit that Alan was obviously obsessed with. Doubt heโs heard of it, but probably essential to understand one of the running themes and part of the deliberate cheesiness of the show. https://youtu.be/iUrzicaiRLU

2022-09-17 23:41:44 +0000 UTCBlack Mirror would be a good to add, although probably best as an Inside No 9 substitute.

2022-09-17 23:26:23 +0000 UTCThat was a good show, and comes with a story thread running through the series.

2022-09-16 17:03:43 +0000 UTCAnother poll soon. So hopefully a repeat performance for Young Ones if it doesn't make it this poll. Doing so much better than it was this time last year. Used barely get 30 votes in the early days

2022-09-15 15:08:22 +0000 UTCI would vote phsycoville myself but the fact it was cancelled kinda puts me off wanting to vote for it :(

2022-09-15 13:42:29 +0000 UTCIt's good to see The Young Ones doing so well although it doesn't look likely to win. Maybe next time ๐ค๐ป I think TYO would make for a genuinely interesting reaction. It's so insane I don't think it matters that much how dated it is or how many references will go over Josh's head. It's just bonkers and has Rik and Ade who we already know Josh likes. For me, it's one of the shows I'm not really sure if Josh will love or just not get into but that's what will make it interesting for a reaction :) I hope it wins next time.

2022-09-14 22:49:30 +0000 UTCPsychoville for me. Really disappointing that it's not doing better. I just know that Josh will love it! Early Doors, This Country, This Is England '86, Game On and The Thin Blue Line also really all worthy winners and think Josh would really enjoy all of them too for very different reasons. Looks as if KMKY will win. Shame. I recall Josh enjoying I'm Alan Partridge so he might love it but I think IAP is better than KMKY by quite some distance. Still, it's only 7 eps, so if it wins, it's relatively fleeting in any case. After Life started poorly and became absolutely awful. Seems popular though and given that Josh has put it back on the poll, I'm guessing he also rather enjoyed it. I seem to be in a minority in finding it quite diabolical! Haha!

2022-09-14 22:34:51 +0000 UTCYeah I said to combine it with Iโm Alan Partridge but hopefully it wins this time

2022-09-14 19:31:17 +0000 UTCDefinitely Knowing Me Knowing You for me! Always thought it a shame that people told you to skip it, but it is still definitely worth watching now! The humour is slightly different, but still brilliant! I would even argue some of the best Partridge moments are in it! And Alan is definitely more of an A-hole as he is at the peek of his career (for as long as it lasts XD). Glad it is currently winning! I LOVE the Thick of It too, but KMKY first would be perfect!

2022-09-14 17:18:09 +0000 UTCI'd love to see Young Ones get on(although it's not as universal as Bottom). It's just anarchic insanity with what is essentially a younger version of Ritchie and Eddie. I think it makes more sense than The Thick Of It, as brilliant as that show is. People have their tastes and you can never tell what this channel will enjoy but I would like it if people took into consideration Josh's tastes a bit more. It makes for a vastly better reaction if the person is actually really into it rather than just seeing it out.
Saul
2022-09-14 17:13:46 +0000 UTCI've never seen this and did not know from the title that it was alan partridge, very much enjoyed seeing alan partridge on this channel before so I'll give it a vote!
Josh
2022-09-14 16:55:42 +0000 UTCwell I voted for ALL the Allan Partrich and Matt Berry stuff and the thick of it cause why the hell not

2022-09-14 15:54:41 +0000 UTCThat would've been my choice if not for KMKY.

2022-09-14 15:03:54 +0000 UTCI only ever saw tiny bits of it when it was on, but something about it always made me turn it off.

2022-09-14 15:02:40 +0000 UTCKnowing Me, Knowing You is the best option. Short, sweet, Alan at his funniest - and we know Josh will like it. (The Thick of It isn't relatable enough, even for me as a Brit. I'm also not sure if The Mighty Boosh would be to Josh's taste but it would be my 2nd choice here, still.)

2022-09-14 14:55:14 +0000 UTCFingers crossed for What We Do In The Shadows, Man Down or Game On!

2022-09-14 13:03:43 +0000 UTCInside No 9 is one of my all time favourites and I was a fan of League from the start (of the TV version at least) but Psychoville never clicked with me as much as either of those. I still enjoy it enough though and would watch a reaction but I donโt like it enough to vote for it just yet, depends what else itโs up against. Iโm sure it will get there sooner rather than later relatively speaking though
Kieran B
2022-09-14 12:44:05 +0000 UTCYeah, both Life on Mars and Ashes to Ashes would be great for reaction. They still stand up after all these years.

2022-09-14 10:48:33 +0000 UTCI know I comment it every time but would LOVE to see This Country. Such a hilariously funny, dry-humoured, new show. So many havenโt seen it so wonโt be voting for it, unfortunately, but I guess thatโs the way it works ๐คทโโ๏ธ

2022-09-14 10:12:30 +0000 UTCPlease can you add Derry girls for the next poll? You would definitely enjoy it!

2022-09-14 10:08:36 +0000 UTCA few good ones on here. Obviously I'm voting for Psychoville ๐ but also Mighty Boosh. I'm absolutely gutted they're not doing better. I honestly would have thought Psychoville would considering how much people have love Inside no 9 etc
Becki Riddell
2022-09-14 08:33:27 +0000 UTCyoung ones please. it should not even have to be voted. you loved bottom, you will love this...

2022-09-14 08:28:27 +0000 UTCI think Human Remains would be great down the line
Kieran B
2022-09-14 08:12:39 +0000 UTCWould be good to get Life on Mars on the list as I think you mentioned you were going to Josh (itโs the series before Ashes to Ashes which is why that didnโt do too well before) And Detectorists. Still a few on here Iโd be happy to see
Kieran B
2022-09-14 08:12:08 +0000 UTCMighty Boosh from this list, the only one I could vote for!

Alison Hale
2022-09-14 08:07:43 +0000 UTCDoes that mean Vicar of Dibley has finished? Can I come out now?
Sam Reeves
2022-09-14 07:59:12 +0000 UTCPolice Squad would be good to add. Its only 6 episodes. Essentially the series of Naked Gun
Danny
2022-09-14 07:53:36 +0000 UTCRock and Chips would be good to add. Itโs the prequel to only fools.
Austyn Shaw
2022-09-14 07:49:54 +0000 UTCNo Derry Girls? :( I thought that was going to be added to the poll. Once again, there are NOT 22 episodes of Wallace & Gromit, there are four short films, one feature length film, a series of two-minute shorts, and a 6 episode series. You may be thinking the 6 episode series combined with the short films would be worth reacting to, but that series is called "World of Invention", look it up on youtube and you'll see it's an educational show for children, not exactly a show Josh should react to. The short films are brilliant (the first three at least, haven't seen the fourth) but it shouldn't be taking a slot on the poll when so many other shows have been requested multiple times by multiple people and not added (Derry Girls, Flight of the Conchords). Those shows should be given a chance, to see how much support they get, rather than repeatedly bring back something like Wallace & Gromit, which is there in error.
Ben
2022-09-14 07:47:31 +0000 UTCLifes Too Short would be good. Itd be done and dusted in 2 months. Alternatively , Young Ones. Long overdue
Danny
2022-09-14 07:18:27 +0000 UTCI think you need remove Wallace and Gromit. Its misleading. The series is not REAL Wallace and Gromit. The "series" is called Cracking Contraptions and is 10 1-3 minute clips. The real Wallace and Gromit is 4 short movies and 1 feature length movie . No idea where 22 episodes came from
Danny
2022-09-14 07:14:31 +0000 UTCWere you going to add Detectorists to the list Josh ?
Chris
2022-09-14 07:13:41 +0000 UTCEarly Doors and The Thick of It the two stand out ones there. Unfortunately I really think Josh will struggle to get the references in TTOI. Think they are even more obscure than In The Loop. Shame as it's superb.
Chris
2022-09-14 07:13:26 +0000 UTCNighty Night will never make it, because so few people watched it, but it is one of the best comedies ever made. Maybe in 20 years, when Josh has watched everything else....
