I actually struggle to watch the 1st season of this. Massive improvements from here on in lol

2022-09-04 20:17:13 +0000 UTCThe serial killerish potential flatmate was played by Simon Nye, who wrote the series (and the book before it). The big difference between Tony and Dermot is that despite them both being immature, irresponsible and quite selfish, Tony is initially actually quite cool and likeable, whereas Dermot is actually a bit of a twat, probably because he and Gary are a bad influence on one another and drag the other down. This is something to remember as you watch on and see how the character develops in the later series.
