Time To Vote for Movies again !!! September 2022 Poll #2

If a movie you requested did not make it on this list please check the list below to make sure it has not been requested by someone else. If it has not been requested yet please leave your request in the comment section. I will add it to the list and it will be added to a future poll.

This Poll contains the 25 movies with the highest votes from the previous polls.

Movies that I have seen before were not added to the poll, they are listed below.

You are allowed to vote on more than one movie.

Why is there a second poll?

TLDR version: Two top-voted movies will be selected from this poll and two from Poll #1. This poll will consist of movies from the list below working our way from the bottom of the list to the top. Poll #1 will follow the same process we have always followed.

Watch this video if you would like more details about this change. Thanks, folks  !!

Looks like we're having a month of crime movies!

Manly Stump

I feel like some of these have been on the poll for ages, and there’s some that get added in and immediately voted for. 😂

Lee

Probably wont win this week, but RocknRolla is brilliant! Saying that, Sexy Beast is also great

Hansol Mueller

come on Loaded Weapon you can do it, i feel like its been on the poll for years and never gonna win, i know josh would find it funny

martyn dodds

yeah Lee Evans: XL Tour what a great idea, would love to see a full stand up on here

martyn dodds

Could Office Space be added to the poll please?

W Martin

@rob 100%

mwdoom

Hey Josh. could you please add Straw Dogs to the movie list?

Rob Thompson

Well I hope your older mind can appreciate it now, as its arguably the best British crime drama ever made, certainly in my opinion, with incredible performaces by Ben Kingsley, Ray Winstone, and Ian McShane. Kingley's performance as Don Logan is one of the most intimidating screen villains, possibly only matched by Joe Pesci in Goodfellas and Casino, and perhaps Robert De Niros portrayal of Max Cady in Cape Fear.

Rob Thompson

A few suggestions to watch if you haven't seen any of these Josh. Good Morning Vietnam, True Grit (2010), The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, Reservoir Dogs (I think u might've already reacted to it but can't find it?), The Terminal, Cast Away, One Hour Photo, Worlds Greatest Dad, Inglorious Basterds, From Dusk Till Dawn, 28 Days Later, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, As Good As It Gets, Lost in Translation, Groundhog Day, St. Vincent, E.T., Empire of the Sun, Boyhood, Catch Me if You Can, Little Miss Sunshine and Mr. Beans Holiday

Ed

Should have some Stand Ups

Sean Riley

XL would be great!

Mark McKeown

A Room for Romeo Brass is excellent, one of Shane Meadows' best. Paddy Considine's first film role, as well as Vicky McClure's. Bob Mortimer named it his favourite film.

Keith Pratt

I first saw Nuts in May during Christmas 1993, thanks to Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer including it in their evening of programmes titled At Home with Vic and Bob. Loved it ever since.

Keith Pratt

Nuts in May is a classic, but I would assume it is relatively unknown to anyone who's not a Gen X'er or older. It's also one of those films that's relatively low key in its delivery and rarely repeated on television, so it's doubtful it will get voted in on here. Shame really, as it's up there with Withnail and I, as cult classic British cinema.

Jay

I love Mike Leigh films, would love to see this or Romeo Brass win.

Stephen Richards

carry on camping. Lee Evans: XL Tour (2005). Mousetrap.

carly broome

I've never heard of it. Theres about 6 films across both polls ive never heard of, and they are all very low scored.

Danny

Same with scum on the other poll I think Brett, that was banned for a while so doubt many have seen it.

Jonny

It deserves to win. The problem is that hardly anyone voting as seen it, so it never will get enough votes, even though most people would love it.

Right Said Brett

Nuts In May was dropped from the poll for having low votes, then got added back again anyway 🙃

Danny

Me and and my friends watched Sexy Beast when we was about 11. We considered it the worst film we had ever seen and used it as a running joke for years 😅 I'll give it a try, as maybe I can appreciate it more now. I only remember a little clip from it now

Danny

Rita, Sue, and Bob Too lol

Ha, The Snapper. Great little from that. But Sexy Beast an all time cult classic. If even just for Ben Kingsley being the most intimidating villain ever to appear in film

Chris

Come on now all, Baseketball time!

Lee

Clockwise has been added 😍 And voted for, John Cleese classic, basil faulty as a timekeeping headmaster 😂

Gareth Hood

Can we add Falling Down to the list?

Stuart Fewtrell
