Time To Vote for Movies again !!! July 2022 Poll #2

If a movie you requested did not make it on this list please check the list below to make sure it has not been requested by someone else. If it has not been requested yet please leave your request in the comment section. I will add it to the list and it will be added to a future poll.

This Poll contains the 25 movies with the highest votes from the previous polls.

Movies that I have seen before were not added to the poll, they are listed below.

You are allowed to vote on more than one movie.

Why is there a second poll?

TLDR version: Two top-voted movies will be selected from this poll and two from Poll #1. This poll will consist of movies from the list below working our way from the bottom of the list to the top. Poll #1 will follow the same process we have always followed.

Watch this video if you would like more details about this change. Thanks, folks  !!

Comments

If The Young Ones wins Josh, there'll be a lot of confusing references to social stuff going on at the time. - Best way to watch would be to just focus on Rik Mayall and Ade Edmondson's physical comedy. (Ignore the puppets etc!)

Nell Sun

Well the winners are JoJo Rabbit,Legend,Wicker Man and Billy Elliot. Tonight could be JoJo Rabbit

Danny

So what's the movie tonight?

Sean Riley

Still all for a 80s month Weird science Secret of my success Clockwise etc

Gareth Hood

Gone for Legend in this one. Tom Hardy’s performance is exceptional.

Lee

About A Boy deserves more votes.

Tony Bradshaw

It's getting my vote.

Jay

If we're only allowed one vote, I'm going in hard for Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Such a brilliant, inventive movie.

Jay

I watched legend (again) the other day. Awesome film, gets my vote.

BazMan01

Yeah, when we're allowed multiple votes I always give one to Twelve Monkeys, it's a film I love coming back to and one that Josh would definitely enjoy. But with only one vote per person this month and Jojo Rabbit on the list, a lot of the other good movies like Twelve Monkeys, Eternal Sunshine and O Brother, Where Art Thou are going to struggle as a result.

Ian Richards

I'm not on board for it.

Keith Pratt

12 monkeys has been on the polls for a while (i think) and is not getting the love it deserves imo

Monkey D. Gaddafi

Shoot Em Up is often overlooked, (presumably due to the generic title?), but I'm going to sing its praises as it's a great fun action movie. It's basically John Wick with near Looney Tunes physics plus some dark, twisted humour. Paul Giamatti and Clive Owen play off each other brilliantly. Trailer for those who have never seen/heard of it : https://youtu.be/zFr2NyKDltQ (which admittedly makes it look a bit PG but believe me it's very much an adult movie!)

David Lyons

Eternal Sunshine is wonderful and not getting nearly enough love! 🙏

Ash Jeffries

Has to be The Jerk or JoJo right?

Sean Riley

please don't vote for Titanic people

arny

Same here

Sam

anyone else find they can only vote for one?

Gyle

Hunt For The Wilderpeople is great

Chris

Titanic! Have we sunk that low 😂

Gareth Hood
