I agree with Fred

I will add the second one to a future poll 😁

After Work Reactions

I will add it to my list bud.

After Work Reactions

A few others have said the second one is very good, I will have to keep that in mind.

After Work Reactions

Oh ok lol I have never seen the original movie.

After Work Reactions

Glad you enjoyed it bud!

After Work Reactions

I don't know who suggested this movie for the poll but they really ought not to have and instead nominated the sequel Hot Shots: Part Deux. It's FAR funnier than this one.

Right Said Brett

Agreed. I remembered this movie funnier than it is

OutlawStar

Agreed

Ferris Booyaa

haven't watched the reaction yet but as one of the few early people that suggested this, if you did like this, please include the sequel "Hot Shots: Part Deux" for future reaction voting - it's a better sequel than Naked Gun 2 which i think we can all agree killed the momentum for that trilogy a bit

Very, very hit and miss. Charlie sheen isn't funny enough to carry a movie imo. Lloyd bridges is an absolute scene stealer throughout but even his moments aren't as good as they are in Airplane. Also, the gags are too signposted, with stupid sound effects and exaggerated slapstick.

Saul

Found this one has aged quite badly. Agree with others that the second Hot Shots is way funnier. Also surprised the Zucker Brothers' Top Secret and Naked Gun 3 weren't chosen over this, as they're objectively much funnier movies, especially Top Secret. Seeing this one again did bring back some 90's nostalgia though , when video rental was becoming a thing, and me and my mates were consuming just about any film we could get our hands on. It was nice to look back.

2nd hotshots is way better and 1 of my favourite comedy movies of all time

Scott sage

Defo needs to do loaded weapon, it was on the poll at one point but think it was removed because it didn't do very well.

martyn dodds

I do like this movie but I love the second one, has a better pace to it. Lloyd Bridges character saves this one for me.

Sean O'Donnell

The "food" scene is a parody of 9 1/2 Weeks, an erotic drama starring Kim Basinger and Mickey Rourke. One joke that seemed to pass you by was when they said "there was a bogey on their tail" and there was a short cut to a man in a hat and raincoat. It's supposed to be Humphrey Bogart, a famous actor from the 1930's to 1950's.

(Just) Steve

Loved this film. Have you seen Loaded Weapon? Another great spoof movie

OutlawStar

Can we get Naked Gun 33 1/3 added to the next poll. Need finish the trilogy!

Danny

Not seen first one in years. I did like this, I enjoy the 2nd one a lot more though. With this beinh based on Topgun it has more drama in it. The 2nd is based on Rambo

Danny

01:30 GMT? Sunday's movie on Monday morning? OMG! It reminds me of having Friday Night Dinner on Saturdays. But it doesn't matter. It's a new book in the library and it's the best library ever. Long may it grow. Thank you to everyone who voted for this movie. It flew under my radar (no pun intended) until now. I appreciate your recommendations
