The only thing I knew about this movie was that Ed Helms was in it. I swear to god I spent the first 5-10 minutes convinced that Jason Sudeikis was Ed Helms... and then Ed Helms showed up lmao.

2021-09-13 20:29:35 +0000 UTCDayumn, that was painfully average. A shame, because Jason Sudeikis is funny throughout, and some of the writing's sharp. But the laziness of that ending - wow. They really do think that if they give a film anything but a happy ending people are going to start self-harming before they leave the cinema.

2021-09-13 18:48:52 +0000 UTCWidth, not depth. A lot more people have seen this and sort-of-quite-liked-it, than have seen Withnail And I and fallen in love with it. And unfortunately 'depth of feeling' isn't a metric in the votes, so we end up with tv shows and films that are only there because masses of people were mildly amused by them, while wonderful tv shows and films that were watched and loved to a life-changing degree by fewer people languish at the bottom of the vote. C'est la vie.
