Spoiler Free: Peep show really does a great job making you uneasy. I am not sure if it's the odd angles, internal dialog, and up-close shots that seem to intensify the cringe or is it just Davids acting. Maybe a combination of both, but it's so cringy and uncomfortable it's funny. A while back Tay and I did a couple of try not to cringe challenges. There should be a try not to cringe challenge made from this show lol.
I would love to hear what you all think about this episode or the show in general. Do you still watch this show and cringe or are you not easily fazed by the cringe of shows?

LOL the camera lingering makes the cringe so much worse. I agree in American shows they don't keep the camera on a character so long. You really do feel Mark's shame.

2021-01-07 09:36:37 +0000 UTCIt’s so cringe ... the way the camera holds on mark as he walks off from Sophie after telling her he likes her. That extra 3-4 secs - In other sitcoms before the UKoffice and this they would cut the scene 2-3secs earlier. Even in American sitcoms that are trying to portray cringe like USoffice or Parks & Rec (mock documentary style) they still don’t do it quite like this. ( I still think they are great shows ) The scene where mark leaves the message on Sophie’s answering phone is cringe comedy in its purest form. Love Marks body language and jez’s looks of concern.

2020-07-19 08:13:07 +0000 UTCThe show is excellent and really just gets better and better. I was watching series 6 earlier. Series 2 onwards it really gets going and everyone knows there role perfectly by series 3, if you think this episode is fringe worthy, you have loads more to come.

Honestly it's one of my favourite sitcom's and I think you have the right level of humour to find this show for the brilliance it deserves. Thanks for the videos!
