I figure we won't get any word on that until the contract resolution is announced. To the contract issue, yeah, we'll see. I still think that they've re-signed, at least as BP, but YG is (like they always do) milking the tension among fans. Fans are focusing on Jennie, who, while doing the concert goodbye said something about BP being better and cooler in the future. Off topic, but at BP's finale in Seoul, I was pleased to see SO many kpop artists/groups attending. It really puts the lie to all of the toxic people who are constantly trying to start fan wars. The older, successful, groups like BTS, BP, Twice, are role models for all of their juniors and they're fans.

Jennie tried to reassure the fans by giving a speech to say that Blackpink would always be there and that as long as the fans supported them they would do their best. but the truth is that for Lisa and Jennie the contract renewal is very complicated. We can already be sure that Jisoo has re-signed with YG because whether blackpink continues as a group or not Jisoo has already signed for a new drama with YG so no worries for Jichu. For a long time rumors spoke of RosΓ©'s transfer to Black Label.
