I've really only been following MMM for a couple years at most. I really admire all of MMM for their singing talent. But those scenes with Solar strolling around effortlessly singing. I just love that.

Anyway, RBW showed more care about the schedule after the incident. I don't know if RBW is a good company, but at least I don't think it's a bad company. The problem is the inexperienced way of dealing with things...

That's true. Realistically, it was very difficult to postpone the concert. RBW's problem wasn't because they didn't postpone the concert right away. In fact, not many moomoo actually thought the concert could be postponed, and more people did not want to take a hard-line response. It was because of the way rbw responded that the situation became really serious. The atmosphere, which had been highly skeptical, quickly became more bad, and since then, things have grown big enough for the Korean media to focus on that fight.

Every company has its problems but the fact that all of Mamamoo signed a new contract with them in either solo+group or only group seems to indicate that they can't be that bad otherwise why would you sign for them again? It will be interesting to see what Hwasa will do soon considering her contract expires in Junes iirc.

Regarding concerts I'm not surprised because moving them is very expensive and sometimes even impossible. It is all around is a situation that sucked. What I hope they got from it is that they plan their concert schedules better so they don't manage to land themselves in that situation anymore. Maybe the fact that they probably lost money on that whole ordeal was lesson enough as morbid as that sounds. Do wonder if MMM being workaholics played a part in that but then again it is the companies job to also save them from themselves in those situations imo.

Yeah that line from Wind Flower really stands out, in a good way. I also think the start of Hwasa's second line is funny. It sounds to me like she's just mumbling 😄 but apparently it's 흔하디흔한 (Heunhadiheunhan).

The most often criticism I heard about RBW are all rather tame: 1) not enough effort in promotion 2) basically ignoring the fact that there are non-Korean fans 3) some cases of "cultural appropriation" For me, that all combines into RBW being a very small and very Korean-centric company, where international fans are more of a happy accident.

There are two English lines of Hwasa that I really like: the first one is here "Get better day by day". The second one is from the song Gogobebe: "It's OK to not be fine." (Near miss here, but Gogobebe actually pre-dates the drama) Mamamoo does really uplifting songs and I love them for this.
