Bringing the Bandanas Back?
Added 2023-02-13 21:48:23 +0000 UTCOne of my first merch adventures & an item that has probably remained among the most in demand from me is the bugdanas. I made my first tiny batch in 2014 and expanded over the years into many new designs and colors. I love making them and seeing how folks use them both as practical and decorative objects!
However, during the course of the pandemic, I wasn't able to restock designs due to a number of complications in production, funding, and fulfillment, and I eventually sold out of every last bandana I had in every style as of December 2022. Things are calmed down enough now I've been hoping to try to restocking them again, but costs and production have changed, so I'll need to slightly raise the price and order a larger quantity up-front, requiring me to open preorders to bring these back. I'd like to start with one of the most popular designs, Moon Meditations, and hopefully bring back the honeybees as well after that.
This bandana is closely based on an original piece of the same name I created in autumn 2014; the screenprint incorporates silver metallic ink in place of silver leaf. The print is sturdy enough to actually use but also makes a beautiful display piece. I'll need a number of preorders to make these happen again and hope the repeated requests for bandanas to return will hold true to action should I open for them soon! ππ
