Yeah, so back to whole Afro-Carib-Latin rhythm thing. Personally to me it's not as close to cumbia as to reggaeton more specifically a couple of dembow rhythms. Which originates from Soca/calypso in the West Indies= the basis of reggaeton Btw I don't know reggaeton that well Mind you I think one could probably associate it with at least a dozen different A/C/L beats Including the newer ~c 2010? Moombathon(sic) which I know even less about but reggarton is part of it along w/"house "! I think? All this seems very subjective since in typical K-pop fashion it isn't a "complete" rhythm and I doubt the composers/etc know much about these rhythms.
