Love Pendants! - 3D printed jewelry!

Hey guys! This was something I made a while ago and wanted to know what your thoughts were on it. I made it for my best friend and his wife and 3D printed it in polished gold stainless steel. Unfortunately, she accidentally lost the pendant at a Renaissance faire when the chain I had strung it on broke without her noticing (I'm ordering her a new one). So, I rendered the model in Zbrush with as close as a material as I gave her and made a turntable video for it. As you can see, he's a lion and she's a hippocampus.

Would this be something you guys would be interested in? What's cool about this is that I can have it printed (as long as it's not sexual - they have content limitations) in dozens of materials, in virtually all price ranges, with materials costing from $7.58 in white plastic to $15,322 if you wanted it made out of solid platinum. It measures 3 inches tall (including the bail ring), 2.3 inches wide, and 0.26 inches thick. How I'd charge it is I'd have a certain cost just for my designing it, and then add in how much the material you chose costs and the shipping in order to get the total price. This particular one is able to be printed in the following materials, and I assume future models would be similar (it can't be printed in all materials that they have available- some, like sandstone, have specific design requirements):

All right, so, big question: Is this something you guys would be interested in? For clarity, what I'm talking about is commissioned pieces of you and your lover (or just you, I'm flexible), and after paying the design fee to me you'd choose whatever material you wanted it made from, I'd order it and send it to you - one of a kind pieces (or two of a kind, if you and your lover both want one)!

Also: I plan, if there is interest, on making more generic pieces to have available - furry themed of course, like decorated wolf-head necklaces, or paw necklaces, or other things of that nature. It would be the same deal - I essentially have the design uploaded and it's approved to be made into a wide range of materials and then you get to pick whatever one you want - buying something this way is simpler than commissioning an individual piece, because with shapeways I can just set up a store and they handle all of it for me.
