It also makes her actions and choices more poignant and earned, instead of starting as a perfect lil golden kid. She’s a vulnerable, emotionally fragile child who needed something she wasn’t getting & much like other predators, Willie sniffed out someone who wouldn’t be looked at as sympathetic which means his scheme is less likely to be interrupted. Scary being off putting at times, selfish, attention seeking like any child/teen can be shines a light on how unless someone is a moralistically “perfect victim” people don’t extend empathy or compassion bc it isn’t black and white—which is why many people are abused or manipulated, groomed in open secret environment; people don’t feel they’re victim enough to intervene and it allows them to allay themselves of guilt while standing on the side lines watching

Despite her being a divisive character, I think there is something really powerful in seeing the deep complexity of Scary in her wild and dark nature. She mirrors a lot of us as teens who struggled with feelings and emotions, pushing a lot of people a way as a means of protecting themselves (sometimes doing it in ways that were absolutely toxic).

That way you can also learn to do it safely. EDIT: also for cats and water, sometimes a little fountain is more attractive for them cause its running.

Like when a little kid asks why is the sky blue, or when I took calculus for the first time and the past 10 years of math all finally felt like I could use it to understand the world around me. 2) Also the fact that bread exists, like first of all we had to domesticate wheat and figure out the best way to consume it which like why the fuck did we do that?? You can’t eat raw wheat!! Why did we want to eat it?? Also you need to use yeast and like how did that happen?? Like someone somewhere mixed up a bunch of flour and water, came back and found that it was bigger, but was like “fuck it I’ll cook it anyways why not.” How did they recreate it? How did bread making become an art??

2023-08-16 00:10:49 +0000 UTCI’ve been using Q tips my whole life, never had a problem. Obviously don’t go TOO deep. If it hurts, pull it out. I use 2-4 of them till it’s not yellow anymore. I’ve never had any compacting issues and my hearing is really good. It’s all in the technique.

Minus one who only started going out after her turned 4-5ish. House never smelled. Cats were happy. And one feeding location which moved over time with a large bowl of water changed twice a day and a double sided food bowl.

However, you should be aware of the food you're giving them. A lot of low quality food does not have enough proteins or meat inside to properly sustain your cat. In fact a lot of store brand have a big proportion of grain inside that the cat can't properly process. It poses a risk for their health (obesity and diabètes), and that has nothing to do with food trends in humans.
