2025-08-30 21:53:49 +0000 UTCI like Clair's design, her blue outfit with the cape it just gives off the eccentric feel I associate with Pokemon's Gym Leader designs, it gives the impression you'd expect from someone who exclusively trains Dragon type Pokemon, plus Dragonair is just a cool elegant design for her partner (they later remade the Gen 2 games for the DS, and reworked a lot of the character designs, Clair keeps her overall look, but they add more detail to her outfit that I think improves on it massively, by the DS era the designers had a lot more experience and better understood underlying design language, so everything overall just stands out more.
