How to use custom art

Here's how to use the in-game custom art feature.

Register and connect a Rayshift account:

First, register a Rayshift account, if you don't already have one.

Next, head to "Edit Settings" or click here: https://rayshift.io/identity/account/manage 

Add your friend IDs for the regions you're interested in using art for, and click save.

Next, you'll need to verify you own these accounts. Set your in-game message to the 8 character code given to you, and click "retry" once you've done that.

Once verified, you'll see a green checkmark.

Now is also a good time to connect your Patreon account. You might have to wait up to 15 minutes for it to activate your perks.

Add some images

Now that you've connected your account, you'll be able to add artwork to your profile. Head to "My Lists" and select the region you want to upload to.

To enter art editing mode, click the icon furthest to the right.

Then click the upload icon on each servant portrait. You'll be asked to upload an image, crop it, and which select decks this art should be applied to. When people view your profile on Rayshift, they'll see these images.

If you need to find good art, try pixiv, danbooru or google images.

Once you've uploaded your images, they will appear on Rayshift. If you've connected Patreon, you'll see a Star icon under the upload and delete icons. 

In-game, only one piece of artwork is supported per servant (instead of per deck, like on Rayshift), so use the Star button to choose the one you'd like to see in-game.

Bring the artwork in-game

To use the art in-game, you'll need to have the TranslateFGO app installed. It only runs on Android. https://github.com/rayshift/translatefgo 

Head to the "About" tab, and click "Connect Rayshift Account". Follow the steps to connect your account until you see a new Art tab:

Then, to replace the artwork in-game, click either "Install Starred" or "Install All". Install Starred will install only the servants you have starred on Rayshift.

Install all will attempt to install any artwork you've previously uploaded. If you choose this option and have different artwork for the same servant for the normal and event decks, the normal deck art is chosen.

Afterwards, you should see the art in-game!
