This is definitely not the end of Garp, but a lot of things are building up, and seemingly theres going to be a lot of personal stakes for the Straw Hats once the fight against Blackbeard and his crew starts. Think about it, they took down and seemingly ice-cubed Garp, Luffy's grandpa, after they were already responsible for Ace getting captured. They kidnapped Pudding, Sanji's former bride-to-be and probably the closest person hes ever come to getting actually together with. They've likely nabbed Perona as well since we didn't see her escaping the island with the others, who looked after Zoro while he trained with Mihawk. They've wiped out Law and his crew, nearly kidnapping him as well until he barely managed to escape, who was allied with Luffy for a long time. All things are pointing to an extremely pissed off crew of Straw Hats beating the ever-living shit out the Blackbeards, ofc its not going to be as easy as that, but man is it gonna be hype

So this is where we end, this was the setup of what's to come for The Straw Hats future. After Egghead, there are all these foes awaiting as we are very close to Laugh Tale. The end is nearing.
