Even by Venture standards, these two episodes were awesomely chaotic! And I really liked the scene between Venture and Hank!

I like the moment between Dr. Venture and Hank, but I don’t really buy it. Hank is much more cut out for that world and buys into it a lot more than Dean. But it’s a good way to show that Dr. V. actually loves Hank (though I’m not so sure it explains why he’s so much harder on Hank than Dean). Anyway, I get what they were going for, but I don’t really buy it.

I never know when I’ll be watching something completely unrelated to the show and not even thinking about VB in the moment, and something will be said that makes a lightbulb go off in my head - “Oh, so that’s what they were referencing in that episode of VB!”

Phantom Limb starting his own guild (with actual people this time) is pretty cool as they are enemies to both the O.S.I. and the Guild of Calamitous Intent. Also, I'm glad you got the Heidi Game reference. I was only a couple years old at the time but had learned about it from one of those 'Today in History' things so I also got the reference. Talk about an unintentional screwup that enraged thousands of sports fans! The second episode shows what happens when Brock apparently went soft and didn't kill Henchman 1 back in that last season episode with Jonas Junior's giant Voltron-like robot. Now the guy's causing trouble for everyone. The next two episodes are probably the best of the season in my opinion. Can't wait!
