I'm not sure if you remember, but Vanir the guy with the mask was one of the Demon King's generals that Kazuma defeated, he has extra lives though so he just came back after he was killed, now Kazuma and him are kind of friends and do business together with Wiz.

Disney in recent years has become obsessed with virtue signalling even to the detriment of making a profit. And Konosuba has been the centre of a lot of controversy from the usual suspects on Twitter. (For example the true gender equality dropkicking and such). Even though it is widely beloved by Anime fans. So Disney wouldn't buy it because they're trying to appeal to those types. Even though those types aren't the ones who go to their parks or buy their merch.

Also, the continuing trend of Aqua being amazing at completely random things like party tricks and sand portraits but useless when it comes to hard work.
