One of the things this season does best is really making you realize just how bad it would be for Thorfinn to fall back into his cycle of violence. Its rare for a show to go from a season of it's MC being a badass killing machine who you root for constantly, to one who you just don't want to see get into any kind of trouble, or god forbid a fight, whatsoever, because if he does it'll just drag him back to the miserable pit of who he was. It also helps that it gives you the whole picture of who he was, he didn't galavant around with Askeladds gang stealing money from the rich and giving to the poor, he was a revenge focused murderer serving a gang of raiders and would kill anyone to get another shot at the man he wanted dead. After everything he's been through Thorfinn has earned a peaceful life, hell he's earned a LIFE in general, my man has suffered enough

He got that Nickname cause he came in at around 6’5 weight of some 300lbs, so heavy a horse couldn’t carry him so he had to walk everywhere.

The average night for Viking was 5’6/7, I assume the retainer are about that height, Einar is 6ft, Thorfinn comes in at 5 ish…given how much bigger Einar is I don’t think it’s smart to fuck with him.
