february update!

hello! it is now february, so i'd like to share what i'll be doing this month!

my plans for this month:

also, this is not for my own game but for somebody else's - i'm working with alex taylor to add story to Witching Stone! it's a lovely puzzle roguelike game where you use stones to cast spells. check it out on itch & steam!

i don't want to start up on any big new game yet though - not until i'm done dealing with the current port i'm working on at least! for last year my main big game was marron & i'm still seeing how the switch port will go, so i'll be working on more jam games for now & see how things are after marron is released πŸ₯•

separately, i want to share a link to this jam: https://itch.io/jam/trans-joy-jam-2025

i'm not in any way affiliated with this jam, but i think people could do with some more joy right now & if creating/playing games can help with that i think it would be nice.

wishing you all a good february πŸ’œ

Gah, I still need to play that. Finally got my new computer up and running yesterday, I've moved it to the top of my list once I catch up on work. or in the evenings if I get a moment. Then maybe check out that jam...

no, thank goodness! from what i understand it should run on switch 2 with no issues in its switch (1?) state as it just uses the regular controllers and doesn't need anything special to run. i would like to get ahold of a switch 2 when it comes out to test properly just in case though.

Still need to sit down and play Marron's Day properly! With the Switch 2 (the unlikely sequel), do you reckon you'll need to do the whole port again?
