2023-07-14 03:58:19 +0000 UTC@Lewd Angel Yeah I agree with the Zeus stuff. Zeus can’t live without Big Mom’s power still being effective, it happened with Mother Caramel and her homies as well. I’ve been telling people that for MONTHS and they don’t think it makes sense…but what do I know lol. @V_VMat Yes and No about Nami losing Big Mom’s vivre card. She did indeed lose it when her and Luffy was captured, however Nami split the Vivre card in half before getting captured. That’s how she was able to control King Baum when escaping WCI. Nami currently still has half of the vivre card, but it works the same regardless of size.

Also, I think Nami lost her vc piece when she was captured with Luffy during WCI (I'm not entirely sure) (Checked and yeah, it was taken from her, but she split it half so she still should have a piece) Edit2. Oh right, something I had forgotten about Big Mom's children regarding VCs...

They can lead you to that person’s direction and more importantly it indicates that person’s lifespan. What @V_VMat is saying is that Nami still has a piece of Big Mom’s vivre card from WCI and if she’s really dead then it would had burned up. However, that’s not been the case yet.

2023-07-13 20:24:19 +0000 UTC@Lewd Angel Law and Kid are definitely powerful, but the point still stands that they are able to win given the circumstances. Despite their growth they are not powerful enough to take on Big Mom in a straight up fight. The same definitely applies to Kaido vs Luffy, despite ALL of Luffy’s growths I would still say in a straight 1v1 a 100% Kaido beats Luffy at ANY form. As far as Big Mom, she was not using Advanced Conquerors because all of her hits were made with direct contact to Kid and Law, you can check in the manga too. The ONLY time she used it was that episode where she knocked out Page One. Also she never used Awakening yet, because in the whole One Piece story EVERY person that’s ever had Awakening has been directly stated, it’s never implied when an Awakening happens.

2023-07-13 18:50:06 +0000 UTCThats still underplaying the hell out of them, and also quite a redundant statement, its in the same vein as saying if there was no backup or interference Luffy would've lost to Kaido again. Both cases could be technically true, but you can't say "If they didn't strategize and/or use X thing to their advantage they would've lost", obviously if they didn't use everything at their disposal they couldn't beat an EMPEROR, thats the entire narrative point of this battle. Also, there is no evidence Big Mom A: Isn't using her awakening constantly, or B: Has awakened her DF at all. So thats a moot point. I also find it highly unlikely she wasn't using AC haki, remember shes been in this fight since she encountered Usopp and Chopper, i find it far more likely shes just completely exhausted and can't. Overall i'm not saying Kid and Law could either 1v1 Mom or that if she was gunning for them since the beginning alone that they'd have won easily, but to say the crater was the only reason is extremely underplaying how powerful and resourceful they are, as this point of this fight is to show their growth to becoming people who will take over as Emperors themselves once the old gen has been kicked out.

No floating island, No explosions, No interference Then Big Mom is kicking their asses, no matter how clumsy she is. Big Mom didn’t even use her awakening or Advanced Conquerors in this fight.

And now her voyage is ended. This is BIG(no pun intended) Law and Kidd's stonks are gonna sky rocket! Now if Luffy can do the same to Kaido, then it's a game changer for sure! Also with Kanzenbo gone, Kanjuro is finally dead and it seems Earlobes is out of the fight as well. Kaido is now the only remaining major threat aside from CP0. Edit: Also a big shout out to Raizo; poor dood's been on fire for over a month and he's still kicking XD
