Same, I want Kaido to lose, but I sometimes find it hard to hate him. It's like how I am with certain wrestling heels like Edge, Randy Orton, HHH, MJF, Brock Lesnar, and Tribal Cheif Roman Reigns; sure I want them to lose, but I cannot help but enjoy their on-screen presence.

XD And then Izo shows up and goes all Red Dead Redemption on the Beast Pirate mooks. I agree with you on respecting Kaido, guy has his own screwed up moral code, but he shows respect to opponents who present themselves as a valid challenge. Kaido acknowledge's Luffy much like how Katikuri did back when they fought. Though, Katikuri is a much more likable guy given the horrible things Kaido has done/allowed to happen under his watch.

2023-07-08 12:45:43 +0000 UTCOne thing that i do like about how this finale is broken up, despite having severe criticisms of the pacing and ordering of fights, is how you really feel the importance of almost every fight thats happening. Perfect example is the Emperor battles. Both are equally important for total victory of our side, if Kid and Law lose against MamaMama, even if Luffy were to take down Kaido he'd be too konked out to deal with her too, meaning she'd wipe out every one of the remaining forces. The same is true vise versa for Kaido. It makes each encounter feel important. ....and then of course we have Raizo vs Earlobes Uzumaki

Episode 1071 You need to schedule so you watch that specific episode right away! The internet is going to explode and spoilers will be hard to avoid. It’s a bigger moment than Episode 1015, Ace’s Death, or Roger laughing at the final island. Remember August 5th! Write it down so you don’t forget.🥁
