Dev Update - R12 (For Realsies) Plans

Hey everybody, time once again to go over the plan for the next release. For anyone that missed it, I decided to call the last one R11.75 instead of R12, so the coming one will in fact be the real R12. Sorry for any confusion ;)

Club Expansion Part 2

So like I’ve stated before, the meat and bones of R12 is going to be the second part of the club expansion. My main goal is going to be getting the club’s storyline actually finished. While I have an idea of what I’m doing, I’m not entirely sure how long it’s going to take in terms of writing and the amount of events. Which is going to make plotting out R12 a little difficult.

So understand that what I’m going to talk about now may be subject to change. I’m playing this one as it goes, adapting based on how long the content takes to make. Same goes for the release date, it might be a bit in flux so I likely won’t share one until a later post. So for now, I’ll just go over my intentions as they currently stand.

Lydia Club Content

First thing that I am already tackling, is getting Lydia’s club content finished. This means her becoming available in the VIP rooms, both for visits and a work task. On top of this, I’ll be making some morale and appeal events. And likely some personal MC events. Should make for a nice representation of Lydia in the club.

Atonia Club Content

After further planning, I’ve decided I won’t be going further with Atonia in the club for R12. Reason being, I need to get her new stage intros and ideally an office expansion going before that all happens. Sorry if you were looking forward to this part in particular, but know that it’ll come later. I’m hoping to tackle these little blockers very soon, so you might not have to wait all that long before Atonia’s club content is finished!

Mel Club Content

I’d like to get some appeal and morale events done for R12, mainly to help you get the stat requirements together for the end of the club storyline. After that, some personal MC events could tie up Mel’s club content quite nicely. So expect to see that!

Jen Content

Jen’s obviously had a lot of work done on her, to the point that I don’t feel anything in particular has been neglected. So I’m thinking of passing it over to you guys, via poll, to decide which area you’d most like to see some new content. More details to come when the poll is actually live, so keep an eye out for that!

Conclusion

So that’s most of my thinking right now. In terms of release date, I would like to get this one done in the span of a month. But I will increase the dev time If I feel it’s worthwhile.

Again, depending on how things go, I might add extra content to the scope of R12. So be sure to check out the update posts later on to see if anything has changed.
