Draco's Fall - Part 1

Key: FD, Chloro,

Description: While a brave hero defends the city from a monster, a villainous huntress hatches a plan.

Note: This is a commissioned story.

The streets of New York were engulfed in chaos as its citizens ran through the streets. Even though police and firefighters were struggling to evacuate them as quickly as possible, debris and fire were still spreading behind them. In the heart of the city was a large interdimensional beast, known as a Sequetor. It was a foul creature with a broad head and a pair of crushing mandibles protruding from its jaws. Its body looked mostly humanoid, but was three times the size of a normal human. That was to say nothing of its strength as it picked up cars and threw them into buildings like they were nothing more than toys. Meanwhile, heat rays shot from its eyes while it spit acid everywhere. Fortunately for the panicked citizens, it seemed less interested in killing them than it did with leveling the city entirely. Unfortunately since they were still in the city, it posed a problem.

Through the chaos and screaming, a young man named Draco ran towards the monster. He appeared to be in his early twenties, with a chiseled physique, and charged through the smoke and debris with his sword drawn. The fight that ensued was epic, to say the least. An interdimensional alien pitted against a human-dragon hybrid from another planet? That should break some box office records!

All eyes were on the hero as he bravely dodged the Sequetor’s attacks, deflecting thrown objects and dodging heat rays and acid with the grace of a gymnast. But not all eyes that were watching were interested in the fight itself. This fight…was really just a test. High above the chaos, a predator watched her prey. Inerva, a professional huntress, sat on a balcony with a telescopic lens, watching the battle take place. “Yes…” she mused to herself. “He will fetch a very nice price.” As she admired his physique, a devious grin slid across her face.

Through the lens she watched as Draco raised his sword, spinning in a circle and aiming it at the beast as a spectacular pyrotechnic blast fired from it. The maneuver had been used so often that the hero’s online fans had even given it a name: the Inferno Blast. Much like our hero, it was quite the spectacle.

Cheers from the citizens filled the air as the Sequetor’s charred husk landed lifelessly on the pavement. The noise carried as high as Inerva’s balcony while she quietly observed. “Oh yes, you’ll do just fine.” She said with a smile as she stood and disappeared from the balcony to begin the next phase of her plan.

Hours later, Inerva sat in her secret underground lair. I’d tell you where it was, but...it’s a secret. Hence the name. Before her were six large computer screens, all displaying various battles that Draco had fought. Each one allowed her to study him more closely. His dark hair and blue eyes, along with his chiseled jaw and the rest of his physique, made him quite easy to watch. But she was more interested in his actions. The way he moved, the way he spoke, where he focused during each battle, and where he was most confident. And most cocky.

She sat at her desk with her legs crossed, leaning back to enjoy the view. Of course, anyone looking at Inerva would argue that the view of her wasn’t bad either. She was wearing bikini bottoms, with thigh high leather boots and matching gloves, while a tight halter top displayed her chest quite nicely. Her exceptionally long hair spilled down her back and along the floor. When she stood up it was down to her knees, but in a reclined position it was easily long enough to lay on the floor.

Her smile turned to a twisted grin as she gently tapped her tablet, setting up a live stream event for later that night on the deepest and darkest parts of the web. “Live, tonight only, the capture and auction of the beloved hero…Draco.”  She smiled as the message was posted and uncrossed her legs, leaning in to stare at the hero on screen before her. “Looks like I have a hot date tonight.” She said, smiling as the screen displayed Draco using his signature finishing maneuver while evil laughter echoed throughout the lair.

Several hours later, Draco arrived in an abandoned warehouse district on the city's north side. He had heard a rumor about a new villain trying to set up a base in the city; that was something he could not, and would not, allow. He moved slowly between the buildings, turning the corner to see a man standing in the shadows. “So…you’ve come.” The figure said, its features mostly hidden even as it tried to bait Draco.

“I won’t allow you to hurt the good people of this city. You can leave now, and return to whatever dark hole you crawled out of. But if you don’t…I will put a stop to you.” He said, drawing his sword and aiming it at the shadows.

The figure laughed as he slowly stepped forward, revealing a tall man dressed in a dark red military uniform, complete with hat and cape. “You will try.” The man said as he leapt at the hero and threw his arms open, sending several throwing stars Draco’s way.

The hero ducked and rolled out of the way as he fired several small blasts from his sword at the villain. Somehow he still managed to look graceful and cinematic, despite not realizing that he was being watched. Of course there was the possibility that he just liked to naturally show off.

Inside of a large semi trailer around the side of the building, Inerva watched the ongoing battle on one screen while several others showed the feed from the live stream. With every jump or parry, every flex or smile, the bids would climb. Of course all of those bids were contingent on her actually being able to capture the hero first. Something she still needed to do.

Occasionally she would point out specific features of the hero. The way his muscles could be seen under his uniform, or the grace of his composure and the ever present smile on his face. That almost charmingly, cocky smile that let everyone know he was in charge. In any other situation she would probably find it annoying. But since she was convinced her plan would succeed, it only added to the thrill of the hunt.

She was so caught up in the live stream and her internal gloating that she was taken by surprise when Draco managed to fire a shot and actually hit the villain. At least he would have...if the villain had actually been there. Instead the shot went right through him. “What the hell?” Draco said as he relaxed his posture.

"Whoops!” Inerva said as she stood up quickly from her chair. “It’s show time!” She dropped her headset and quickly ran out of the van, grabbing a small bag on the way out.

Draco stared at the villain as he continued an almost unending monologue and jumped around, dodging the shots that were no longer being fired. When the villain jumped again he shot several throwing stars towards Draco. Instead of dodging, the confused hero simply raised his sword to block the one that would hit him. But the star went right through the sword...and through him. There was no impact, no sound, no pain. Only a faint noise as the star passed through him. “Wait a minute…” The hero began as he turned his attention back to the villain who was charging at him. However instead of attacking, or dodging, Draco simply stood his ground and raised his sword in a defensive position…just as the villain passed right through him.

Draco turned around to face the villain, an ever growing look of confusion on his face. “A hologram?” he asked, trying to put the pieces together. His train of thought was distracted by the huntress landing on his back and slapping a cloth over his face, while her legs wrapped around his chest and her free arm around his neck.

“Gotcha!” Inerva shouted gleefully as the hero beneath her began to buck wildly. Draco’s arms flailed as he tried in vain to reach his attacker or strike her with his sword. But Inerva had positioned her arms perfectly to block his massive biceps with her elbows. He couldn’t reach her or hit her with his sword, the most she would get was a gentle thunk from the blade and nothing else. And so she held on even harder.

To his credit, Draco was struggling far more than she had anticipated. The cloth was soaked in a specially designed form of chloroform, specifically created to work on Draco’s unique physiology. Although with that being said, it would probably put an entire football team to sleep in seconds. It was incredibly potent, but it had to be to counteract his dragon DNA. Even so, he put up quite the struggle.

“Just relax honey, you can’t fight this…” she whispered into his ear with a devious smile. “Not even you can resist my special formula. After all…I made it just for you. You wouldn’t want to disappoint your fans, now would you? They are soooooo looking forward to seeing you sleep for me…to seeing you simply fade away.  I’m sure you can feel it now, as your arms get heavier, the world around you getting blurry. Feeling the strength slip from your fingers, more and more.“ She heard a loud clanging noise echo through the warehouse walls as Draco’s sword hit the ground.

Inerva simply giggled. “That’s it…all those muscles…all that strength…and you’re being brought to your knees by a hundred and twenty pound woman. Brains over brawn, dear…you have one, I have the other.” She licked his ear playfully as she felt his shoulders start to slump, while his body swayed as he fell to one knee.

Back in the van, the bids on screen climbed higher and higher. hundred and fifty thousand, three hundred thousand, four hundred thousand… up and up the bids went.

As Draco’s strength slowly failed him, he slumped down to his second knee and fell forward, catching himself on his hands. Inerva, still on his back, slowly slid her hand down his neck to play with his nipple, then caressed his chest slowly, feeling the curves of his muscles. “I want you to know, big boy…” she began with an evil cackle, “I plan to have my way with you. To examine every inch of you...and live stream the entire thing. And once I’m done, I’m selling you to the highest bidder.” She couldn’t help but laugh as she heard the hero beneath her grunting angrily. “What’s that big boy?” she asked, giggling. “You don’t think so...You’ll break free…You’ll get me for this…or some other boring hero cliche that you love to use so much. No, not this time. This time your eyes are going to close…and when they reopen, you’ll begin your new life…as a slave…a pet… a toy to the highest bidder.”  She could see that Draco was struggling to keep his eyes open, even as his arms gave out and he landed face down on the ground, limp and helpless. His eyes fluttered as they struggled to stay open. She leaned in and kissed his cheek, whispering into his ear. “Nighty night, big boy.” She said with a grin as his eyes rolled up into his head and slipped closed.

Back in the van the bids had topped one million dollars, and were still rising as an enraptured group of, shall we say, interested parties watched the scene unfold before them.
