If you do this, DON'T do it wrong!

PATRONS: Bobby and I are experimenting doing videos together even with me living further from him.  He is still going to come up here occasionally but this was a good chance to test this style.  Let me know what you think.

You are mid-slab and it starts pouring -- time to bail! You look down and there is nothing on your harness. You have is a sewn runner over your shoulder. How do you get down? We've got a clever solution for you, the Texas Rope Trick! It is a great technique that can save you, but it's unforgiving if you get it wrong.  This situation should never happen. Keep a few carabiners on your harness whenever you are climbing. Leaving a carabiner and lowering or rappelling from it is a safer and better option than the Texas Rope Trick.

Perfect! That's the stuff I need. Someone asked if pulling on the sewn part weakened it. I was able to go quickly try it out because I has spares laying around. hit me up at ryan@slackline.com and i'll give you my address

I forget which video you asked for slings in recently (might have been this one?), but I've got four 60cm mammut dyneema slings I just retired that I can donate. They're somewhere around ten years old.

I really liked the video. Thanks again, you guys!
