Again, getting to these quite late as my paramedic schedule is getting more hectic. I like the incorporation of Temuera Morrison's New Zealand Māori background in a lot of these scenes. The fight scenes with the Tusken gaderffii (gaffi) stick, and the celebratory dancing around the fire were all based on Māori tradition and ceremony. Getting a deeper understanding of the Tusken people is what really made me love this episode. It took the two dimensional background characters from the Ep4 introduction and made them relatable.

Anyone else think this is Star Wars' version of "Dances with Wolves"? "Dances with Banthas" maybe? Tusken Raiders have typically been portrayed as mindless "savages" in the original Star Wars trilogy and the prequels - but this show really goes into their culture and lets them be actual people.
