Hi everyone,
I recently started a new sketchbook, and I have been working on a few ideas for paintings, so I thought I would share the pages I have created so far with you.
I will have a more in depth post about each painting idea in the next few days also.

The first page is a mess of notes and tiny thumbnails for a couple different ideas.
I made a list of the concepts I would like to work on developing further in the top left of the page.

The first few pages of this sketchbook are peppered with some life drawing studies, as I had initially purchased the sketchbook to be the one I took with me to group drawing sessions. It is spiraled, which makes it easy to flatten when holding it while standing, and its cover is basically thick board, making it a good drawing surface when no easel or table are available.
I have not had much opportunity to use it because of everything, so I decided to make it my main sketchbook after I finished the one I shared with you in my last video and PDF.
The above 2 pages probably date back to 2019, if not late 2018, and while these sketches were not done from life, the ones further down in this post were.

In my last Youtube vlog, I mentioned that I wanted to work on filling a bit sheet with lots of small illustrations, and the two you see above are some ideas for that project.
I still need to draw out a few more before I can start, but I am on track to begin soon.

The sketch on the right of the above page were more doodles to try out various ideas for those small paintings I just mentioned, and the thumbnail on the left will get its own post soon. :)

The above sketches are all for planned paintings, with the concept on the right currently being the one I am exploring.
These ideas will all be getting their own posts soon.

The tree stump concept above is one you might remember from a previous Daily Doodle Diary batch. It is another one I would like to explore more in depth for a painting, although the idea is still a little hazy, so I will be letting it mature in the back of my mind while I work on the other ones I started developing above.
This sketch will however be the April Exclusive 5x7 print for $35 patrons! :)
And finally, here are some of the older from life drawings I mentioned before.
I may have shared these with those of you who were with me back in 2019, but I figured it couldn't hurt to show them again. :)
I think most of these are from life, although it is possible some may have been from videos too.
I am not one to miss the company of large groups of people, but this pandemic has definitely made me miss interacting with friends and meeting new people during life drawing sessions!

I hope you enjoyed this sketchbook dump, and that you are wonderfully well. :)
Speak soon and take care,
M <3
