Hello lovely people,
Merry Christmas! (A little belated, sorry!)
How did your Christmas go if you celebrate it, and how have the last few days been if you don't?
I started this post at the beginning of last week, and then things got away from me a little and I didn't manage to post it then, so it's a little late, sorry.
My boyfriend and I had a nice quiet, relaxing Christmas.
I cooked a nice dinner and we went for a short walk at dusk and fed some crows. It was calm and slow and rather fitting for this end of year. A nice contrast to its hectic atmosphere.
It was my first Christmas away from home, and while I miss my parents and brothers dearly, I still enjoyed it very much thankfully, and I hope to be able to see my family soon.
What did the last few days look like for you?
Sending you all love, it has not been an easy year and this time can be particularly difficult for a lot of us, so I hope you were able to be surrounded with love in whatever shape that came.
I painted a little card for all of you, which you can download as a high-res image at the end of this post, or by right-clicking on the image below.
I wish I could send you all a little something in the post to say thank you for being the best patrons one could ever ask for, but I can't quite afford that at this time, so I hope this little card will do as a gift for now. It's a little weird, but I really had fun painting it, so I hope you will enjoy it! :)

I haven't managed much in the way of creative tasks lately, so much of my to-do list has been admin and clerical tasks, but if you watched my latest Youtube video, you'll have seen me start this piece below.
I abandoned it not long after, as I wasn't enjoying the process or the result at all, but this is a concept I have been wanting to explore for a while now, and is based on an older sketch of mine for a couple of years ago.
This is simply one of those cases where the composition and direction were not working out, which helps me get a better idea of what to avoid or go towards. I'm ok with this particular attempt not working out, and will probably pick the idea back up in the new year. :)

Here is the older sketch this concept started with :

As a little heads-up, I will be taking some time off after the new year, maybe a week or two, as I am completely burnt-out and I struggle to complete the most basic tasks at the moment, but I will be posting a couple more things before the year ends, and will be working on rewards and posts in the next few days.
Physical rewards for Nov, Dec and Jan will probably ship during the second half of January.
I will have a proper update post about my plans for January, and for 2021 as a whole in the new year.
In the meantime, I truly hope you are all doing well, and that 2021 can bring you the joy and happiness 2020 seems to have swallowed into its black hole of a year.
And as always, I cannot thank you enough for having supported me all this time and through this ridiculous year. I hope you know just how incredible you are, and how grateful I am for EVERY. SINGLE. ONE OF YOU.
Each and every one of you helps me in ways you cannot imagine. I don't have enough words to properly express how thankful I am to all of you and how much you all mean to me but here I am trying, haha.
I hope you are all as well as you can be.
Thank you again and always.
M
