"Cherish" Painting

I painted a thing.
You might remember the sketch I did of this concept a few months back. I really liked the idea, and was determined to paint it, so here we are!
It is the first page of a new sketchbook, the Saunders Waterford Watercolour sketchbook. It has 100% cotton, 300 gsm, 28 sheet, Cold-press paper, and is really delicious to paint in.
I used watercolour and gouache (acryla for the background, and regular for the face and hands), and my new favourite thing, watercolour pencils for the outlines.
The right edge is deckled, which I always love.
