Priority Commissions - May 2020 CLOSED!

COMMISSIONS ARE CLOSED AGAIN! 

Sorry, I had expected the 2 folks I turned away at the start of the month to come back, but as of today i have 7+ new commissions in the queue, and many of which are quite large scenes or ref sheets. 

To combat this issue, I will not be opening a second time in the month again in the future - only the one opening at the beginning of the month! I may need to instill some first come/first serve rules as well as the $15+ tiers are becoming more popular. 

I would normally have no issue completing this many commissions in this amount of time, but I will be gone/away from work from 5/29 onward (through the end of this month/start of next month) and I still have my Patreon Illustration for the month to complete before I depart early the 29th.

The remaining Priority Commissions for this month will be completed as soon as possible, but it is likely that, if all are accepted and paid for, many will bleed over into June and be completed ASAP next month. I will return from travel on the 3rd and continue to work through the queue at that time. 

This will also delay next month's Priority Commission opening, so apologies to those of you who were waiting for next month! I will do my best to ensure that everyone on that tier who wants a commission, gets one.

If you have put in a form for this month's Priority Commission and did not intend to return as a $15+ patron next month, feel free to cancel - I have your contact information and will reach out to you outside of Patreon. No need to pay for another month, even if your completion/due date is in June.

Please note that there's no guarantee I'll accept your commissions, but you will be at the front of the line and have a day or two to get your commission ideas in before I open publicly! Monthly Specials! Please see the “Pricing” section below. Each month I will pick a theme, character, or idea and offer it as a discount! That may be a commission type, a commission with a certain character, a commission theme or trope, etc.

• Read this post, then ask me any questions you may have in the comments!
• If you'd like a commission, fill out a form. Link is below!
• IF YOU HAVE A PREVIOUS FORM IN skip filling out a form and just shoot me a patreon message as described in the next step!
• After your form is filled out, MESSAGE ME VIA PATREON and tell me what e-mail address you put down (either contact or paypal is fine - just something so that I am both notified of the commission form, and so that I can connect it to a paid user on this end!)
• Note: the "message" feature is located on my "Overview" page (the main page for my patreon) under the "... More" button located by my current patron count. Should appear top right for you. You can also open your messages tab and send one to "kihu"

• You must request an approval step before payment, or I will just send the completed piece when it is done, and you will not have the opportunity to review/edit it! 
• That’s right! That means you FOREGO the opportunity to request changes if you do not request a review after the sketch phase before paying me! Please make sure you’re aware of this!!

• Payment is 100% up-front via paypal. These pieces may be streamed, attendance is not required. Edits/review will be made available after the sketch is done (one approval step) before completion if requested before payment. 

Pricing:

MONTHLY SPECIAL FOR MAY:

• Down & Dirty Quick Ref Sheets! $350 (Or as low as $250, see below)
• Ref sheet includes a single inked and flat colored full-body view designed for other artists to "read" when drawing your character, a color palette, and a small bio section for your name and basic age/height/weight/etc stats.
• Pricing starts at $350 - This includes the $250 base rate, and my standard $100 reference fee. The reference fee covers the extra time and effort it takes to fine-tune a ref sheet to your specifications - this means a lot of editing, back-tracking, reworking, and time spent waiting for communication/replies.
• If i am given more artistic freedom, the option to hand it over completed with no edits, or plenty of existing reference material and allowed to 'run with it' the $100 fee can be reduced or omitted entirely. Existing ref material with small requested changes can also reduce the fee.
• As always, extra work costs extra - this means complicated markings, tattoos, horns all over, textures, etc
• These refs will be drawn nude, though you may choose SFW or NSFW. An alt version can be added for $50 if you would like both. 
• A back view can be added for $200, plus any necessary fees for complexity. If doing SFW and NSFW alts, add an additional $25.
• Beyond adding a back view, no additional closeups or features are available at this time. Perhaps sometime in the future! 
• Backgrounds will be simple flat colors or gradients with textures.

FLAT COLOR COMMISSIONS:

• $225 per character, up to 4 characters. Upcharges for detailed characters, outfits, alts, etc may apply.
• $180 per character: My characters are available for use at 20% off ($144 each). You can also use that discount price to commission me for custom requests of my own characters and I may provide a further discount (if no other character is included) as I may keep it patreon-exclusive for a month & make prints available later.
• +$60 for basic backgrounds, $80+ for hand painted (content dependent). Plain background or “color splashes” are free. 

SKETCH COMMISSIONS:

• $80 per character, up to 4 characters. Upcharges for detailed characters, outfits, alts, etc may apply.  Markings are not usually included in sketches, but can be for an upcharge.
• $60 per character: My characters are available for use at 25% off ($60 each). 
• $50 per character: If commissioning me for pics of JUST my characters, I'll provide this further discount (if no other character is included) as I may keep it patreon-exclusive for a month. You can use this to basically guarantee a sketch request for this patreon!
