Mike, I have to disagree . I'm on record last year for saying don't trade for a pitcher that just lost time for a sore shoulder. Hopefully, Casman will not be allowed to trade foray pitchers from now on. Please allow Sabean to do either signings and trades. I still have nightmares of Sonny Gray and Weaver hot flashes.

2023-02-10 21:49:18 +0000 UTCI can see it. The timing doesn't work out quite as perfectly (Romine became a free agent right as Higgy ran out of minor league options, and Higgy will be a year away from FA when Rortvedt runs out of options), but it's nothing that can't be figured out.

Rortvedt was in the Top 30 in some early passes but I decided to leave him out. I'm gonna write about him more next week. He can't hit, but good defense behind the plate will keep you in the game a long time.
