Pen gifting and why I'm discontinuing it.

In this video I will gift four pens, and sadly, I will be discontinuing the practice. As a $6 patron, you "were" eligible to receive as a personal gift of gratitude, a fountain pen, or other writing relating gift if I randomly choose your name in my "Writer's Gift" videos. Going into the new year, Patreon is requiring me to agree to their "terms of use" and in reading the policy, I see that Patreon prohibits rewards that are given to patrons if the method of choosing a patron incorporates the element of "chance". Unfortunately, the only fair method of choosing a recipient for the gift is by randomly selecting a name from among the patrons and this, Patreon deems to be inconsistent with the terms of use policy. Therefore, effective immediately, I am discontinuing the drawings. I want to convey a heartfelt thank you to those patrons that supported my work through this reward tier and I hope you continue to support my video-making efforts through Patreon. I appreciate your patience as I ponder a replacement reward that is appropriate for your generous level of support.
