Changing the polls?
Added 2023-04-24 17:39:53 +0000 UTCAfter half a year of using patreon I feel like less and less people are suggesting characters for me to draw monthly and the overall participation seems lower.
That's why I would like to get your opinions!
Would you prefer to handle polls differently? For example "Act 3" patrons could suggest more of a theme for a drawing than a character from a different series.
For example one might suggest "Cat girl Moni" or another "Cheerleader Yuri", etc.
Of course "Act 2" and "Act 3" would be able to vote like before.
This way more people could feel engaged to participate and might be encouraged to share their whishes, which may be more enjoyable for everyone than being biased towards a character of a popular series!

2023-04-27 07:30:19 +0000 UTCI like the idea of a random addition! I don't think I would be able to pull of two full artworks, as drawing new characters take way more time to draw than the dokis I'm used to, but I feel like a portrait or half-body sketch would be a nice, thank you!

2023-04-26 09:41:37 +0000 UTCIt would mean additional drawings, but maybe something along the lines of a raffle or “artist’s choice” every few polls for characters that didn’t win their original vote? It would make it at least possible for more obscure characters to get drawn

Most people are here for the ddlc girls in the first place and past polls on Twitter showed me the popularity of the dokis within my follower is more balanced, so I hope it would be more fun for everyone than how it is now

2023-04-24 18:25:14 +0000 UTCI think the biggest issue right now is that the chances of most characters winning in the polls is directly tied to the popularity of the character, meaning that suggesting someone less popular is essentially meaningless right now.
