I always find it challenging to capture the essence of a character when trying to draw a well-known character that was originally designed in a simplified or cartoonish style. Since my own art style leans more toward realism, I can’t replicate the original look exactly, so I end up reinterpreting the character in my own way. But then I start to worry whether I’m really expressing what fans love most about the character. 😂

단순한 그림이나 만화적인 스타일로 디자인된 유명한 캐릭터를 그릴 때, 그 캐릭터의 이미지를 잡는 게 항상 어렵게 느껴지네요. 저는 좀 더 사실적으로 표현하는 쪽이라 원래의 캐릭터의 스타일을 그대로 그리면 어색하다 보니, 결국 제 방식으로 다시 해석하게 되거든요. 그러다 보면 애정하는 캐릭터의 매력 포인트를 제가 제대로 담아내고 있는지 걱정이 들곤 하네요.😂
