Important Update on the Monthly Suggestions (please read!)

Hey hey!! Hope everyone is doing well!

As some of you may know, I usually open the Monthly Suggestions Post at the beginning of every month, where you can leave your ideas for me to draw.

Because my list has been growing quite fast, I've decided that I will be taking a break from opening the Monthly Suggestions every two months and I'll be starting that break this next month, so that means I won't be opening October's Suggestions.

The main reason for this decision is because I find myself stressing a bit with the amount of suggestions I've postponed. I also want to be able to have some time to work on other personal projects, like my own individual zine and opening an online store.

The Patreon Rewards already take a lot of time to work on each month and those are a priority for me, so when I fill the rest of my time with Monthly Suggestions, I pratically have to cram in all the other things I want to start working on or just postpone them.

Important!

Even though this is supposed to be a laid back add-on to my Patreon where I choose a couple of your suggestions to draw every month, I can't lie and say that I don't feel some sort of pressure to try and meet everyone's expectations. I want to be able to tend to everyone's interests but sometimes they don't colide with mine, and I do struggle a bit with keeping myself interested in things that don't really spark much enthusiasm in me.

With that said, I feel it's important to mention that there are some suggestions that I don't particularly find much interest in fulfilling (even if they are popular). The Monthly Suggestions are not meant to be Commissions, so I do take liberties when choosing what I wish to work on and how I approach it. Sometimes I want to work on fresh new ideas that you give me and other times I want to go back on the list and pick something from a few months ago.

Long story short: Even though I'm open to a lot of different fandoms/ship dynamics/character tropes etc, that won't guarantee that I'll pick up everyone's suggestions. I hope this won't deter you from giving out your ideas in the future, because I'd love to know more about your fandom interests!

If you still wish to leave a suggestion before this month ends, the September Suggestions are still open!

side note: I've thought about opening a Google Docs where I'd share what suggestions I'm planning to work on (much like I already have been doing to keep track but on my personal document). Let me know if this is something you'd like to have added onto the next Monthly Suggestions, starting in November!
