This is really lovely! It makes me want to watch Court Street episodes. I must confess that I have not had the time, save the first four. Everything Steve creates is poetic, isn't it. Much humanity.

Respecting others and talking it out made all the difference in the world because he was probably so confused. Usually when someone gets pushed they go right for evil and malevolent. They could be scared, not aware they've passed, or just very confused, or all 3 and you talking to him man to man with such compassion, respect, and kindness really touched me when he said " you're very welcome. You can faintly hear it so I boosted the audio. That made me tear up a bit. That ended beautifully and I must bring this up as I'm binge watching the theater again because I like to go back to listen to evps. Sometimes we misunderstand people and you went up there and was very delicate with how you spoke to him and explained why people had to be in that space. THIS is why I love your work so much because you show love and kindness to the living and the dead. He went from don't F with me or my spot to a big ol teddybear. 🧸
