Progress Report Week 26 / Poll

Sweet Affection Update 0.8.8

I'm happy to say that I'm already making good progress for the 0.8.8 update.

It's going to be an update with quite a lot of animations, so plenty of work cut out for me.

I managed to finish a good portion of the art for Maya while working on the previous update, but wasn't quite able to finish it.

My focus has now turned back to creating all the planned M&S art, and I'm hoping to be done with that in about a week, or so.

After which, I'll spend a good while writing it all before going back to Maya's content.

It's going to be a rather big update, so I'm not going to make any promises regarding an early release, this month.

I'll do my best as always, but my first goal is to have it all finished on Juli 31.

As always, I'll keep everyone updated on the progress.

Next week's progress report will contain our schedule for the next couple of months.

Also information on when the next level up is going to be, so... stay tuned. :)

Now, the main reason why I made this progress report for Patrons only.

I've been getting messages and complaints from people that I'm not advancing the side characters fast enough.

And, as all of you know, I agree with that. (That's why we made the new schedule regarding the side characters, once we hit 0.9.0)

However, I've also been thinking about how we could advance them even quicker.

And, I got the idea that maybe you guys would like it if I focus on 4/5 side characters for the time being until their story is completed before continuing development on the rest.

(This will have no effect on M&S their content, which will keep on being developed as we've always done.)

So, my question to you is.

Would you like us to focus on 4/5 side characters first, and finish their story first before further developing the rest?

This poll will remain active till next week when I will make the results public, and if the majority votes yes, I will also post a new poll where you guys can vote on your favorite 2 characters which you would like to see first.

The top 3 of the results will be focused on in the future, as well as 2 characters that I will pick myself.
