Progress Report Week 19 / Q&A 1

First of all, I'd like to say that the 0.8.5 is now available for all tiers.

And, the Q&A as mentioned last week will be posted at the bottom of this post.

Work has gone pretty smoothly the past week.

I finished all the art for the planned events today, and I'm going to start writing all

those events tomorrow.

There are a lot of events to write for M&S and Jane, so it will likely take me a good while.

But, I aim to start beta testing around 25/26 May so we are still on track for an early release.

But... I rather make sure everything works properly than rush to have an early release.

I should be able to give a good indication regarding a release date in next week's progress report.

Q&A

As mentioned last week, I got some questions from people the past couple of weeks and I thought it would be good to answer some of the repeated questions, publicly.

1. Is level 9 going to be implemented for M&S, this year?

Yes, that will definitely happen this year, but I can't give an exact date, yet.

We still have the following content to implement.

- Normal Hourly Events: 21:00, 22:00, 23:00, 24:00

- Special Hourly Events: Cosplay, Lingerie

- Special Weekend Events: Dates, Spa

- Misc. Events: Spy cams, Texts, Room items, etc.

Finishing Level 8 late Q3 would be likely if everything keeps going smoothly, but we all know that life sometimes likes to throw a curve ball, so I don't feel comfortable promising that, yet.

But, I do promise that I'll go as fast as possible.

2. Is there any news regarding Private Community?

No, unfortunately, there is nothing new, yet.

We are still growing and I hope that I'm able to hire someone to help me out later this year.

I do however have been practicing with DaZ during my free time.

But, unfortunately, my hardware is pretty outdated so it's more about learning the program than doing anything productive.

3. What is this Cabin that keeps on being mentioned with M&S?

The cabin will be a location that will be introduced later this year.

4. When is Sweet Affection going to be finished?

When all characters' content is 100% finished.

(So, M&S and all the other characters than the MC can interact with)

Obviously, that is still going to take quite some time.

5. Apart from what your goals on Patreon say, are you looking to hire people?

Yes, but those are voluntary positions, at least for now.

But, we are currently looking for.

1. Someone that could help the team with Promotion & PR.

2. Someone that is specialized in Ren'py on Android devices.

6. Are you still planning on fixing some of the older bugs?

Oh, definitely!

I still want to go through all the level 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 dialogue and fix grammar issues, but

also, try and make it flow a little bit smoother.

Also, there are some images that I'd like to replace.

But, all my time, at this moment is directed towards implementing all the new content.

I've been playing with the idea to spend an entire update on older stuff (Going through almost 3 million words and fixing it takes some time, after all)

But, I know that everyone has gotten used to new Sweet Affection content each month, so I understand if most people wouldn't like that.

If I do that, I'll make sure to create a poll first to see what everyone thinks about that idea.

7. (Last Question) Are you going to implement Diary pages for side characters?

At this moment, there are no plans to do that.

There is already so much work ahead of us that we want to focus on what to do, instead of

things that we could add.

Now, if the majority of people would like to see that, we can always think about implementing it at later stage once the team grows.

But, until then... M&S will be the only characters with Diary Pages.
